Now, let's talk about the food. We started with the BBQ Beef Brisket Nachos, and wow - they were a mouth-watering delight! The tender brisket combined with the pepper jack cheese, pickled jalapenos, and corn salsa, was a match made in heaven. The dish was rounded off with the creamy avocado and jalapeno sour cream - a perfect balance of flavors and textures.

Next up was the Shrimp 'n' Grits, a classic Southern dish that Rustic Table has managed to elevate to new heights. The creamed corn grits were rich and velvety, and the shrimp and sausage were cooked to perfection. The addition of tomatoes, parsley, butter, white wine, and lemon created a symphony of flavors that left us wanting more. And as a bonus, the dish is gluten-friendly - perfect for those with dietary restrictions.

We also tried the Steak Salad, which was a refreshing change from the usual heavy salads. The beef medallions were cooked to a perfect medium, and the arugula, spinach, and radish added a fresh, crisp bite. The goat cheese and spicy pecans added a punch of flavor, and the mustard vinaigrette tied it all together beautifully.

Lastly, we were lucky enough to sample the special salad of the day - the Fried Oyster & Fruit Salad. This dish was a delightful blend of flavors and textures, with the crisp fried oysters being the star of the show. The spinach, pecans, dried cherries, crumbled blue cheese, bacon, and apples created a harmony of sweet and salty flavors that left us satisfied and happy.

We can't forget to mention our wonderful waitress, Emma, who made our dining experience at Rustic Table even more enjoyable. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. Emma was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations on what to order. She was attentive throughout the meal, checking on us regularly and making sure that we had everything we needed.
